Background
- Gageodo lighthouse was constructed on the north of Gageodo 84 meters above sea level to serve as a landmark for ships entering from the East China Sea and the open sea.

Structure and characteristics
- Structure : A white circle brick structure with a straight staircase from the lower portion of the lighthouse to the installation structure of the lighthouse lantern; there is also a staircase on the outside of the lighthouse.
- Characteristics : Height of the lighthouse is 7.6m, and the lighthouse summit is 84m from mean sea level.
